The World of Warcraft-themed South Park episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft" has won an Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program.

In the episode, the South Park kids must stop a "griefer" named Jenkins (after the infamous Leeroy Jenkins), and save the World of Warcraft from its ultimate destruction.

South Park Studios worked with Blizzard Entertainment, creators of the World of Warcraft game, to craft the machinima used in the episode. According to Machinima.com, Blizzard supplied animators with full character models and assets.

"We were excited to hear that the creators of 'South Park' were interested in featuring World of Warcraft in the opening of their new season, and we really enjoyed collaborating with them to make this happen," said Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment, before the show's premiere.

The episode has garnered mass popularity, prompting South Park Studios to release a free 10-day trial of World of Warcraft along with the Season 10 DVD which also includes the episode.
